L.E. Wallace

L.E. Wallace was born October 25 in North Miami, FL and grew up in sunny Miami Beach. At the age of 5 a microphone was placed in her hand and she fell in love. For the rest of her childhood years, L.E. had a brush in her hand singing in the mirror, or on her balcony townhouse for whomever in the neighborhood would listen. She was always involved in choirs and school plays. Growing up in a family where the arts were not looked upon as a possible profession, she studied theater, television/film production and music as electives while taking all types of business courses throughout college. After 4 years, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Liberal Arts degree from The Honor’s College at Florida International University For the next 5 years, L.E. worked odd jobs from a talent agent for Wilhelmina Models to sales for various companies. During this time she kept up with her acting and vocal training. After 13 years of performing as a hobby, being in numerous student films and theater productions, she realized it was time to make this a career. The childhood belief that her path in life was not to be a performer was still prevalent; so she committed to helping fellow actors live their dreams. With the help of divine guidance she got a job as an agent in a start up modeling/talent agency. As much as it fulfilled her to help actors find jobs, she wanted to be more involved in the creative process. Right next-door was Lori Wyman Casting, one of the most successful casting companies in South Florida, where L.E. got an internship. By the end of her first year, she was the Casting Producer for TLC’s Home Made Simple (2008) and Casting Assistant to feature films such as Marley & Me, Away We Go, New in Town (2008) as well as directing casting sessions for a plethora of national commercials. Her journey continued to unfold during one of the casting sessions for Marley & Me. The director, David Frankel, was in the room auditioning talent and L.E. was in awe of his brilliance and the process. That’s the day she realized she was standing at the wrong end of the camera. Shortly after that day, her father was diagnosed with Lymphoma and became very ill. She left the casting company to help her father heal. During the year of his illness, L.E. realized life is to precious for one not to follow their soul’s calling. She decided to pursue her childhood dream of being a performer despite her family’s objectives. Once again, the Universe responded with an email regarding a new acting class. She attended the class and met Keri Lurtz that unbeknownst to L.E. was a synchronistic meeting. The following year Keri cast her as Bridget in Lost Angel.
