Kahra
Kahra is a singer, songwriter, recording & performing artist who has been on an MTV reality show, sang backup for Bob Marley's Mother, dancer on the field in the Superbowl XLI Halftime Show, model on a downtown Miami billboard, recorded an album in Syracuse, Italy, written songs for films, written hit songs for other artists, & performs solo or with her live band "Miami Myth".
Kahra's new album titled, "XOXO" will be released this year produced mainly by Justin Thomas, who is most know for mixing "Crash & Burn" for Nadia Ali (formerly of iiO) which was number 6 on the Billboard Dance Charts. Guest producer Giuseppe D., who works with RCA, Jive, Ultra, Epic, Universal Latin, Sony Discos, etc. Songs are recorded by Trak~Adiks who works with the Marley Family & done work on Eric Clapton songs.
Kahra grew up in the environs of Chicago, IL. She started singing at the age of 4 as a choir alto. Her vocal study during this time included church music, Italian Arias, Operas, Broadway Musicals, etc. Since moving to South Florida, she has been studying speech level singing with Mary Walkley. Kahra is a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, & Publishers), NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International), & CSC (Chicago Songwriters Collective).
